Danny Pens Column for Better Homes and Gardens

Danny has joined forces with magazine powerhouse Better Homes and Gardens. Starting in the November 2008 issue, Danny will contribute a regular column in the magazine on home-related topics from do-it-yourself chores, to seasonal projects and advice on popular remodeling jobs.

According to Editor in Chief Gayle Butler, "Danny is a recognizable and well-respected figure in the world of home improvement who has a knack for making complex topics easy to understand. We know our readers will love to hear his expertise."

Danny and his production company also partnered with the magazine on two episodes of Today's Homeowner®. The second, which will air the week of October 13th, features many of the winners of the magazine's Home Improvement Challenge.

Established in 1922, Better Homes and Gardens has a circulation of 7.6 million and a readership of more than 39 million, making it one of the largest subscription magazines in the country.

11th Season Brings New Face and Green Segment

When nationally syndicated Today's Homeowner with Danny Lipford® kicked off its 11th season on over 220 stations nationwide, the show had a fresh face. Jodi Marks, formerly of Fix It Up!® on HGTV, will be joining the crew which includes Danny, co-host Allen Lyle, and Joe Truini. Marks will host the "Best New Products" segment and join Danny on other projects.

In response to viewer interest in living green, the show has also added a new "Thinking Green" segment to a lineup which includes the quick home tips, "Simple Solutions." To view episodes online, visit dannylipford.com.

They can count on him in the future as Danny has recently signed up for his ninth year as home contributor for the network. Danny's segments on the home air 30-40 times each week. And each Saturday, Danny hosts the multi-part "The Home Depot Project of the Week."

On August 21st, Danny took aim at some old home myths, including the idea that all home remodeling projects increase the value of your home. Two days later, he appeared live with daughter Chelsea, a student at St. John's University, offering advice to parents and students across the country on how to maximize and organize space in small dorm rooms.

The View was the eventual winner.

Simple and inexpensive home projects was the focus of Danny's next appearance on July 5th, when he showed Gerri how to make a big difference in your home for under $50. On September 6th, Danny offered more hurricane tips at the peak of the storm season.
