Today's Homeowner with Danny Lipford® Picks up Daytime Emmy Nomination

Danny's nationally-syndicated home improvement television show picked up a Daytime Emmy nomination on April 30th. Today's Homeowner, which is in its 10th season on over 200 stations nationwide, will compete against The Ellen Degeneres Show and The View in the category of Special Class Writing. The awards ceremony will be held June 13th in New York City.

Danny to Make Two Appearances on CNN's Open House

Danny will appear on two segments of CNN's Open House with Gerri Willis in the next month. The upcoming segments will cover hurricane preparation tips and simple home improvement projects for under $50. The hurricane segment will air May 31st, the day before hurricane season begins.

Danny Helps Homeowners Avoid Contractor Scams on The Early Show

On May 2nd, Danny appeared live from a rooftop in Marianna, Florida in an interview with Maggie Rodriguez on The Early Show on CBS. Danny reported on contractor scams after storms for the show's weeklong special series from tornado-ravaged Greensburg, Kansas.

Today's Homeowner Picks up Two Top 10 Markets

The nationally-syndicated Today's Homeowner was recently picked up by stations in two coveted top 10 markets. Atlanta's NBC affiliate WXIA will start airing the show in September and the show has already premiered on WMUR in Boston.

In addition, KSKN/KREM in Spokane and WRAL in Raleigh have recently signed on to air the series, which begins its 11th season in September.

Danny and his company Lipford Construction will appear in the June issue of the industry magazine Remodeling.

Danny was a guest on the half-hour radio show, "Morning Living" on the Martha Stewart Living Channel on Sirius Satellite Radio, April 1st and April 28th.

On April 13th, Danny appeared live on Chicago's TV station WLS with a report from the floor of the Kitchen and Bath Show.

Danny discussed indoor and outdoor security projects on Houston's KHOU TV morning show "Great Day Houston" on March 25th.

On March 6th, Danny was featured in the New York area newspaper Newsday discussing top home products from the International Builder's Show.

Danny's Production Company Shoots National Commercials for Kwikset

Remodeling Today Productions recently shot two national television commercials for lock manufacturer and show sponsor Kwikset on May 13th and 14th.

The commercials introduce the company's new innovative SmartSeries™ line. Remodeling Today Productions also produces the Emmy-nominated Today's Homeowner and has produced over 100 short segments for The Weather Channel.

New Online Lawn and Garden Resource

Danny recently launched a lawn and garden section on his popular home improvement site, dannylipford.com. The special section, "Around the Yard", contains over 100 articles and videos on a wide variety of outdoor subjects.
